The ensemble Harmonie Universelle will perform a concert of Baroque chamber-music for violin with harpsichord and cello on Monday May 28, Memorial Day. The concert will take place at 4:00 pm in St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church, 41 Mt. Desert St., in Bar Harbor. Baroque violinist Heidi Powell will be joined by harpsichordist Dr. Daniel Pyle and Baroque cellist Max Treitler. The program will include sonatas for violin and continuo by Corelli and Albinoni, as well as Bach’s Sonata in G for violin and harpsichord, and works for harpsichord and for unaccompanied violin. Admission to the concert is free but donations are requested. St. Saviour’s is handicap accessible.
The trailer is out in our parking lot to receive your donations of redeemable bottles and cans. This year it will go to St. Saviour’s Mt. Desert Island Fire Fund benefitting victims of fire in the area!
Morning Prayer is each Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 am – Rectory Library
Eucharist is each Wednesday at noon in the Chapel
Contemplative Prayer is each Friday at Noon in the Rectory Library
Sundays, Holy Eucharist is at 7:30 and 10:00 am
